Hello! My name is Clara D’Onofrio, and I am the founder and owner of Ms. Clara’s Mini Musicians, an early childhood music school located in Brookfield, IL.

I’m reaching out today because I know that you are likely looking for high-quality, creative, and educational online classes, videos, etc., to share with the families in your community. It’s so important to stay connected right now, and I’m confident that the moms and dads in your community view you as a reliable source for virtual activities for little ones. I also understand that, like the rest of us, your business is likely experiencing a loss in revenue during these unexpected and indefinite closures.

I’d love to share with you how you can not only provide the children in your community with fun, educational, and interactive virtual music classes, but how you can also potentially generate revenue for your business. And most importantly, this will not cost you a single penny. Just 3-5 minutes of your time, and we’ll be ready to go!

To give you a bit of background, after nearly 10 years of offering our fun, educational, and skill-building music classes to over 300 children a week, we have quickly re-engineered our classes to be 100% virtual. My talented teaching staff and I have been offering over 25 virtual music classes a week, and we have created an approach that translates perfectly to this virtual platform.

Additionally, I taught my first Facebook Live virtual music classes on Monday, March 16th, and in just a few weeks, they have been viewed over 16,000 times, everywhere from Chicago to California, and even on to England, Guatemala, Ireland, and France!

The pictures and testimonials started pouring in from families:

“OMG!! Parker LOVES watching you!!! We’re watching your classes OVER and OVER! He requests it by patting on his knees, and when I ask him ‘do you want to watch Ms. Clara?’ He goes NUTS! This has become part of our daily routine, and I have shared the videos with everyone I can think of. Thank you for doing this for these kiddos!” -Christine R., mom

“I finally got the dishes done without an interruption during these classes. You’re my hero.” -Teresa S., mom

“Savannah and Miles were mesmerized with your two virtual classes, as was I! I have watched it twice myself, it was so good. You have a gift of combining fun movement and song with a peaceful, joyful essence. I could see you becoming the future Ms. Clara of the Music World. You’re that gifted.” -Sherry T., grandmother

After receiving such an amazing response, it was clear that parents are craving high-quality, interactive virtual classes and videos for their little ones. With a gallon of green paint and some green fabric, my husband and I converted my music school into a green screen recording studio. I’ve been finding and designing so many pictures and gifs to spark kiddos’ imaginations, and I’m confident that these music classes will continue to fully capture the attention of infants, toddlers, and young children.

All of these videos are free and open to the public, and I simply include a donation link in the comments section and gently invite families to make donations before and after each class. As you know, many people are looking for ways to support small businesses right now, particularly ones that they have come to know, trust, and love…such as yours and mine.

A recommendation from you would help spread the word about these free virtual music classes and videos, and I am more than happy to share 30% of the net income of any donations that mention your business name in the notes. Alternatively, if you would like to set up personalized virtual music classes on Zoom for the families in your community on a set-price or pay-what-you-can basis, I’d be happy to discuss this option with you as well.

To make things as simple as possible, I have created a document for you to share with the families in your community, and of course you can edit it however you like to make sure it fits the personality of you and your business. Simply view the letter here and then copy and paste it into your own email, making sure to customize any of the words in red with your name and your business name.

You can also download several fun pictures and the letter mentioned above as a Pages document (Mac) and a Word document (Windows) by clicking here.  (If it’s easier for me to email you the pictures and documents directly, I’m happy to do so.)

I know it’s important for you to make sure that the content you are sharing is fun, educational, and engaging, so please review my previous Facebook Live virtual music classes on my Facebook page or on YouTube. If you have any questions and/or you’d like to move forward with this virtual partnership, you can reach me anytime at Clara@MsClarasMusic.com or at (708) 704-1716.

I am so excited about this opportunity to partner with you and to help both of our businesses not only survive these closures, but to also come out on the other side stronger than ever. We truly are all in this together!

Sincerely,

Ms. Clara
